Guilin is located in the north of Guangxi Zhuangzu Autonomous Region in Southern part of China.
There are various ways to get to Guilin. Trains are available from Beijing(20 hrs), Shanghai(20 hrs) and Kunming(19hrs). Overnight buses and trains from Guangzhou, Shenzhen(Hong Kong border) and Zhuhai(Macau border; only bus) take approx 10 hrs. Guilin has direct flights connecting Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, South Korea and all main cities in China.
